Did you know that most types of disposable water bottles (e.g. – Aquafina, Evian, Dasani, etc.) are made of PET plastic. The American Recycling Institute reports that only 14% of these bottles are recycled. Instead, most PET bottles end up in the trash where they can take up to 1,000 years to biodegrade, filling our landfills and injuring wildlife.
